Co-produced with VW and priced below the 911 the 914 was launched in 1969. This midengined sports car featured a removable roof and a four cylinder fuel injected engine. 13,312 units of this model were sold in 1970 alone. The uprated 914-6 version was fitted with the 2-litre six-cylinder engine of the 911 T.

Porsche recommends the multigrade variant with a viscosity of 20W-50 for all 356, 914 and 911 models (up to 2.7 litres). When the engine is cold or warm, this oil is the best product for maintaining the classic engine, generates few deposits and offers good compatibility with the materials installed in the vehicle, such as cork gaskets or lead bearing shells.
